Health data policy
What this covers
Dietician keeps health data about you. Washington's My Health My Data Act asks for a separate policy and your consent before it is collected. Nothing reaches Dietician until you consent.
What Dietician keeps
- What you eat and drink: the food, when, how much, and any note.
- Your nutrition targets.
- A profile for setting goals: sex, age, height, weight and activity level.
- Photos of nutrition labels you send.
Where it comes from, and why
From you, or from an AI client acting as you. It is used only to show you your own log and progress. It is not sold, shared or used for anything else.
To identify a food, Dietician may look it up at USDA FoodData Central, a US government database. The lookup carries the food, not who you are.
Who can read it
You, and any AI client you connect. I can open the server's databases (same as the privacy notice); I won't without asking you first. Storage and backups are as that notice describes — this page does not repeat them.
Withdrawing
You can withdraw consent in Settings at any time. Withdrawing permanently deletes everything Dietician keeps about you; backups taken before then are kept until they expire.
To ask what is kept about you, write to me at [email protected].
